Hot Line Freight Announces Rate Changes

Hot Line Freight today announced a general rate increase (GRI) of 5.9 percent effective August 31, 2026. 

• The 5.9% increase will apply to customers subject to Current Hot Line LTL base rates (HLNF500), pallet rates and ABS minimum charges. This rate adjustment applies to less-than-truckload (LTL) and ABS minimum charge shipments for domestic US and cross-border Canada.

To meet customer expectations and provide the level of service associated with Hot Line Freight, we must invest in technology, efficiency and sustainability as we position ourselves for the future.  Further, these rate adjustments reflect industry and regulatory pressures impacting operational costs.
