ltl freight wisconsin roberts wiHot Line Freight has expanded its LTL freight Wisconsin terminals to the Roberts Business Park in August of 2012 and has moved in the former Madison Freight building, 201 Packer Drive.  The company relocated from Afton, Minnesota to Roberts and are pleased with their new location in Roberts.

Hot Line Freight, a LTL freight company (LTL means “less than load”) is a Wisconsin based company with its headquarter offices located in Bangor, Wisconsin.  Hot Line Freight provides next day service to portions of Wisconsin, Minnesota, Northern Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Northern Indiana and Southwest Michigan.  They also provide nationwide service throughout the United States.  The company operates 13 terminals; they have 200 employees, 125 late model trucks and 250 – 53” air ride trailers.  Cheri Dolney is the local dispatcher at the Roberts terminal.

Larry Johnson and Robert Burgmeier started the company in 1988 with 2 terminals and $350,000 in sales.  Today, the company has sales of $25,000,000.  Larry Johnson, manages their subsidiary company, Coulee Company Truck and Trailer Repair, while Rob Burgmeier manages Hot Line Freight.  On behalf of the Village of Roberts, we welcome Hot Line Freight to the community and the Roberts Business Park.
